This Privacy Policy describes how Alchimies UA (hereinafter “we”, “us” or the “Company”) collects, uses, stores and protects the personal data of users of the website alchimies.ua (the “Site”).
We process personal data in accordance with:
- the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, GDPR);
- EU Directive 2002/58/EC on privacy and electronic communications (“ePrivacy”);
- the Law of Ukraine “On the Protection of Personal Data” No. 2297-VI.

2. What data we collect
We may collect the following categories of personal data:
- Contact data: first name, last name, email, phone number, company name — when filling in the contact or subscription form.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, language, device type, date and time of visit, pages viewed.
- Communication data: the content of your messages sent via feedback forms or email.
- Marketing preferences: your consent status for receiving email newsletters.
We do not knowingly collect special categories of data (race, religion, health, etc.) or data of minors under 16 years of age.
3. Legal bases for processing (Art. 6 GDPR)
We process your data only where one of the following bases applies:
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — for newsletter subscriptions and the use of non-strictly-necessary cookies.
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — to process requests and provide services.
- Compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)) — accounting, tax and other requirements.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — ensuring site security, analytics, service improvement. These interests are balanced against your rights.
4. Purposes of processing
We use personal data solely to:
- respond to your requests and provide information about products;
- conclude and perform contracts for the sale of 3D printers and 3D printing services;
- send informational and marketing messages (where consent is given);
- analyse traffic and improve the Site;

The Site uses cookies. On your first visit we ask for your consent to non-strictly-necessary cookies (analytics, marketing) in accordance with the ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR.

- Strictly necessary — ensure the operation of the site (no consent required).
- Analytics — help us understand visitor behaviour (anonymised statistics).
- Marketing — used for personalised advertising.

6. Transfer of data to third parties

- Alchimies Group (France) — our EU manufacturing partner, where processing a request relating to technical support or warranty.

7. International data transfers
Some of our service providers may be located outside the EEA or Ukraine. In such cases we ensure an adequate level of data protection by:
- entering into EU Standard Contractual Clauses;
- transferring to countries with an adequacy decision of the European Commission;
- applying other safeguards provided for in Chapter V of the GDPR.
8. Data retention period
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes of processing:
- contact-form requests — up to 3 years from the last communication;
- customer data under contracts — for the periods set by tax and civil law (typically 3–7 years);
- email subscription — until you unsubscribe;
- technical logs — up to 12 months.
After the retention period expires, data is deleted or anonymised.
9. Your rights (Art. 15–22 GDPR)
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access — to obtain confirmation and a copy of your data.
- Right to rectification — to request the correction of inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) — to request the deletion of data.
- Right to restriction of processing — in defined cases.
- Right to data portability — to receive data in a structured format.
- Right to object — to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
- Right to withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
- Right not to be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling.
- Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or the competent authority of the EU country of residence.

10. Data security
We apply technical and organisational measures to protect data in accordance with Art. 32 GDPR: HTTPS encryption, access control, regular backups, data minimisation. Nonetheless, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

We may update this Policy. The current version is always posted on this page with the date of the last revision. In the event of significant changes, we will notify you additionally (by email or a banner on the site).
